MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, earned him the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. He then joined Ozuna in the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He also collaborated together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and the following year released his sophomore album which was the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her smash streaming song Maldita Foto. 2000 saw him perform the hit song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are both musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral component of his childhood. He started playing the saxophone and guitar as well as the ukulele, and keyboard when he was the age of a small child. Although his first career choice was to become veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons with the famous Cuban.
